The Beach

We had a great time this weekend visiting family and friends at the beach. Here are a few pics from our adventures. More to come :)

We were very blessed lately to be able to vacation with some of our good friends in Sunriver! The house that we stayed in was HUGE, and the kids just loved running around in it! Joe did have to clean the carpets before we left (that's how we got to stay there) but we had a great time :) Thanks Higgins for coming with us!

Corn Festival Parade and Our Little Fairies

Our town has an annual Corn Festival and Parade. This year my friend Deanna and I decided to put our girls, Joy and Addison, in the parade. They had a great time, and they especially enjoyed throwing unwrapped candy to the crowds!...What can I say? They are 2! :) Of course the parade always has a theme related to corn. So here is our best attempt to create "Corn Festival Fairies." I know it is a little cheesy, but the girls loved dressing up in the dresses and. Notice the Corn Husk "Wings." They really did look great at the beginning of the parade, but these pics were taken after. Fun times!

Such a Big Girl!

Here is a very recent picture of our 2 1/2 year old, Joy. She is our crazy kid, full of energy and independence :) She is now dressing herself, talking all day, counting, singing songs, testing her limits, and potty training. She loves her sister, she loves to run, and loves to be loud. I think we need to start praying for her future elementary school teachers now! :)
Also, don't you just L.O.V.E. this little sweater. Our friend Wendy handed down some adorable clothes from her daughter, Sarah. Thanks Wendy!
