Cousins

We had the privilege of spending the afternoon and evening with Cyrus, Kim, Ruth, and Lydia. Cyrus and Kimberly showed us the new home that they are in the process of tying to buy, and they also had us stay for a wonderful dinner of homemade pumpkin soup and two kinds of pies! Joy had a blast playing with her cousin Ruth, and baby Lydia kept all our hearts warmed with her sweet continual smile.

Here are a few pictures of Ruth and Joy from yesterday evening . Ruth was very gracious in allowing Joy to play with her toys and her teeth. I don't know what it is with our child, but she is absolutely thrilled with touching other people's teeth!

Joy also decided to grace us all with another word last night. As we were sitting on the couch I said to Joe, "I think that it is about time we get our little girl home and give her a bath." I then turned to Joy and asked, "Joy, can you say bath?" And sure enough, out came the word "BATH!"

It is very exciting to watch these little girls develop and grow. Joe and I are truly blessed to have wonderful family so near to share in the experiences or our lives.

What a treat to see our two red-headed great-grands playing together. They are one of the great joys of our lives. And it's great to see they both have such good and loving parents! Keep up the good work of growing and enjoying your children.
